Introduction to the Herd

I first heard of MooGoo products a few days ago while out for dinner with a girlfriend. She went on and on about how great her skin has been feeling after using the shower wash and creamy moisturizer packaged in this totally cute milk container. She suffers from slight eczema and said these products give her some relief.

Now usually I would let her enthusiastic ravings wash over me but it just so happened at that time I was looking to replace my depleted supply of eye cream and body moisturizer. The next night, with nothing better to do while chilling at home, I cast my peepers to the MooGoo website and tried to figure out what was so good about it anyway.

Obviously I take any company website reviews with a grain of salt because we all know only the positive reviews make it on there. So naturally I turn to my tried and trusted Vogue Forum with feedback from countless of Australian ladies not shy about expressing their excitement or disappointment on products. Reviews for the MooGoo range were quite varied but mostly positive; the differences seem to stem from personal preferences and skin type. Some said certain products were too oily for their skin, others said it was fine but didn't like the smell, some saw no visible differences etc.

With that in mind so I began my trot into MooGoo Land! First up, the oh so important eye cream to battle the dreaded sag and fine lines. At first I had narrowed down my choices to getting Kielh's Midnight Recovery Eye after a long day of extensive reading and researching through all the different types and brands of eye cream – and trust me ladies, there are a lot of them! My requirements for this product were i. it NEEDED to work, ii. minimize my fine lines and slight bags, iii. AUD$50 and below.

After perusing between the three MooGoo eye serum offerings I decided to go ahead with their 3 Vitamins Eye Serum since it claims to "help prevent the appearance of ageing". And of course since I suffer slightly from shopaholic-ism, I also picked up their Skim Milk Udder Cream, Anti-Ageing Cream, Anti-Ageing Cream with SPF 15 (because what's the point of using all these lovely products if you aren't continually protecting from sun damage?) as well as their No Beetle Lip Juice Edible Red Lip Balm (I was curious to what is their colour of "sangria" and besides what girl says no to lippie?).

Popped it all into my shopping cart, entered my details, out came my poor and battered credit card and voila – MooGoo incoming in a few days!
